Personal Biography

Oluwatosin Busayo Igbayiloye obtained her Bachelors (LLB) and LLM Degrees from University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2008 and has been in legal practice since then.  She is currently a Doctoral candidate of the University of Pretoria, South Africa and her research focuses on human rights-based approach to mining of solid minerals in Nigeria.

She is a Lecturer at the Department of Jurisprudence and International Law, Faculty of law, University of Ilorin. Her area of interest is human rights particularly business and human rights and disability rights.

Mrs. Igbayiloye is a member of the Women and Child Watch Initiative (WOCWI) which supports and protects women and children against violence and contributes to the wellbeing of the woman and child.

She is a Member of the Nigerian Bar Association, International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA); she is also a Commonwealth Fellow and a member of Commonwealth Scholars and Fellows Alumni Association Nigeria (COSFAN).
